Who We Are
We are an organization based out of Purdue University and we aim to help students interested in entrepreneurship learn about how they can start their own companies. We are open to ALL students, regardless of major, gender, sexual identity, etc. We want our members to support women in tech and entrepreneurship.
Ms. Tech is an organization dedicated to helping women grow their own ideas into their own successful businesses. We are working with Ms. Tech in Chicago, a Company that does the same thing. We connect students with successful entrepreneurs in Chicago, as well as bring in speakers from local businesses. We are a community of entrepreneurs and innovators, dedicated to help each other out.

Yasmeen Hafeez
Co-President
Yasmeen is currently a Junior at Purdue University and is majoring in Management Information Systems and Supply Chain Information & Analytics. She took over the duties of President in January 2017 and will serve as President during the 2017-2018 school year. Along with entrepreneurship, Yasmeen is passionate about helping those who are disenfranchised in ways that can lead them to live successful lives.
Nicole is the founder of Ms. Tech in Chicago, and has been our mentor since 2015. She has served as the President of Ms. Tech since 2014. Nicole now invests her time advising and guiding the next generation of startup companies through a strong partnership between Ms.Tech and 1871 as the co-facilitator WiSTEM, a curriculum-based program that connects women to capital, community, and technology resources.
Anushree Kesurvala
Co-President
Anushree is currently a Junior at Purdue University majoring in Strategy and Organizational Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems. She took over the duties of President in January 2017 through the 2018 school year. She is working on a side project on researching different ways storytelling can be used in a workspace to improve productivity.
